Ace - Our Blue Roan Stallion

Ace came to us from a stud farm after a kick to the face broke his jaw. Ace is not currently available for rehoming.

Billy

Billy is our eldest pony at 16 years old. Due to his servere arthritis Billy is not currently available for rehoming.

Clancy

Clancy is a bossy 16hh Thoroughbred gelding. Retired from show jumping after an injuy but still ridden he is now 18 years old and in need of a experienced home.

Ebony

Ebony came to the sanctuary from a very loving home that unfortunately could no longer care for him. He has settled in nicely and is the perfect gentleman, Ebony is available for rehoming but due to his age (22) and an old scaphoid injury is limited to light hacking only.

Goldie - Is the food coming yet?

Goldie is a 14.3hh 16 year old Connemara X. She loves attention and would make a loving family pony, watch out though, due to a cheeky temperament she can occassionally be a little hard to handle.

Mr Joe - A true Gentleman

Mr Joe has recently returned to the sanctuary after unforseen changes to his adoptive families circumstances. Mr Joe is not available to re-home.

Lucky

Lucky is a cheeky 12 year old, 13HH gelding. He is very friendly but due to the lenght of time he has been at the sanctuary will take time to settle in a new home.

Shirley - Retired racehorse & our eldest

Shirley is a permenant resident at the Sanctuary and the face of Happy Horses.

Sparky

Sparky is a 4 year old 10hh Exmoor x Shetland pony. He is not gelded and there for would need an experienced home. He also must be rehomed with his full brother Skylark.

Woody

A permenant resident at the Sanctuary, Woody can be a grump at times but everyone knows its all for show he's a big teddy bear really!

Rocky

Happy Horses youngest - a happy accident he is the son of Suzie (the escape artist) and Sparky (soon to be gelded)! Rocky is now available to rehome.

Misty

Born on the Sanctuary from Goldie, Misty is a very dominent mare. She is yet unbacked and is very intelligent. Would suit an experienced home to either ride or drive.

Skylark

Skylark is the younger brother of Sparky and unlike his brother has been gelded. Skylark is 6 years old and Sparky is 4. Both are available for rehoming but due to their strong bond must be rehomed together.

Olly Olly Olly Oi Oi Oi

Olly is one of the newer additions to the Happy Horse family. Although backed he doesn't like to be mounted and we need time to discover his true potential. Olly will reqire a very experienced home and is available for rehoming.

Bertie

Bertie is a gentle giant. At 17.2hh he is the largest of the horses on the sanctuary. Bertie has problems with reoccuring laminitis and therefore needs a knowledgable, patient home to care for him.

L'Amour

L'Amour is a beautiful strawberry roan Section A. Due to a traumatic birth causing her retinas to detatch she is blind in both eyes. L'Amour is a permenant resident at the Sanctuary.
